Timothy Drury
(Whitesnake)
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Timothy began playing the piano at age six. He grew up in an atmosphere of creativity and the arts (his father, James Drury, played "The Virginian" on the popular NBC television series in the Sixties) and was constantly on the set or traveling on promotional tours with his father at a very young age. Throughout high school he played guitar and bass in countless garage bands and cover bands in bars, bowling alleys, colleges, anywhere he could plug in an amp and bash away. His main early influences were the great rock bands of the Seventies like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, ELP and The Who. His mother was always turning him on to classic movies so the scores of composers like Bernard Hermann, Ennio Morricone, Jerry Goldsmith and Alfred Newman drew his senses into a very textural, deep direction as well. He began writing melodies and lyrics in high school and would play/escape for hours on end into the newfound joy of creating his own music. After years of playing around Los Angeles and a few years of study at Cal State University Northridge, he got his first big break when Don Henley hired him to play keyboards on his End of the Innocence tour in 1989. Since then, he's been on non-stop tour of the world as a keyboardist, guitarist and vocalist for bands such as the Eagles, Bryan Adams, Melissa Etheridge, Stevie Nicks and now, the legendary Whitesnake. In 2000 Don Henley released a single from his "Inside Job" CD which was co-written with Timothy, "Everything Is Different Now", and in 2001, Stevie Nicks released another co-write, "That Made Me Stronger", which was produced by Sheryl Crow (Timothy's old touring friend from the Don Henley band). He has been heard as a composer or player on countless TV shows including productions on PBS, A&E, VH-1, MTV, E!, The Leno Show, ESPN, The Letterman Show, KCET, Saturday Night Live, and ABC In Concert From 2003-2010 Timothy was keyboarder in WHITESNAKE and was also responsable for some outstanding backing vocals both LIVE on / the Whitesnale Live cd/dvd "In the Still of the Night" and on the WS recording "Good to be bad". Timothy left Whitesnake in September 2010 to fulfill more of his artistic dreams.. For more information, see Timothy's website:

Darren Wharton
(Thin Lizzy)
Darren Dean Wharton, keyboard player, singer and songwriter, was born in Failsworth, Greater Manchester, on 24 December 1962.Darren began classical piano lessons when he was about six years old. In his early teens he started to listen to jazz players like Herby Hancock and a few years later he was a fan of Rick Wakeman and Jon Lord. At the age of only 17,he was invited by Phil Lynott to contribute keyboards to the 1980 Thin Lizzy album ‘Chinatown’ Darren later said that he thanked Phil, “for giving me the greatest opportunity that any young guy could ever wish for”. The following year, he co-wrote the opening track ‘Angel of Death’ on the ‘Renegade’ album and played on most of the tracks on 1982’s ‘The Philip Lynott Album’. He had greater input into the writing on ‘Thunder and Lightning’ (1983),notably the haunting ‘The Sun Goes Down’, now a Thin Lizzy classic. The double live album ‘Life’ was recorded during their 1983 tour. After Thin Lizzy disbanded, Darren formed his own band, Dare, building up a strong following in their hometown of Oldham, Lancs, performing songs like’ Abandon’ which Darren had written for Phil. In 1988, the band recorded its debut album ‘Out of the Silence’ at Joni Mitchell’s Beverly Hills studio. ‘Abandon’ was released as a single and the band’s popularity increased after opening for Europe on their 1989 Out of This World tour. ‘Blood from Stone’ was released in 1991. Following Darren’s move to Wales in 1992, his music reflected a more Celtic influence. Dare released ‘Calm Before The Storm’ in 1998 and ‘Belief’ in 2001,featuring ‘White Horses’, which gained much airplay;‘Beneath the Shining Water’,(2004),a beautiful album filled with soulful ballads, including the single 'Sea of Roses, ‘The Power of Nature’ (2005 live album) and ‘Arc of the Dawn’ (2009). Darren also toured with Thin Lizzy in 1999, from which came the 2000 live album ‘One Night Only’. He rejoined Thin Lizzy with Scott Gorham, Brian Downey, Marco Mendoza, Ricky Warwick and Viv Campbell for the 2011 world tour. We welcome Darren as a Friend of Music Heals; we are extremely thankful for the support and encouragement of this genuine, friendly guy and incredible musician!
